1. What the platform is
A platform to learn and write programs for programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It includes a simulator that runs programs in your browser; solved examples, find-the-bug lessons, and labs graded by the engine; and tools based on artificial intelligence.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to register.
- Registration is free. Paid credit packs are announced on the Pricing page before they launch.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your password secret, and for everything done from your account.
- We may suspend any account that misuses the service, for example by trying to break into the service, creating fake accounts, or sending excessive automated requests to the AI features.
3. Limits of the simulation, and safety
- The simulation is for learning. It does not guarantee that a program will behave the same way on a real controller or machine.
- Exported code is a learning reference. It has not been tried in any manufacturer's software, and it must be reviewed and tested on the machine before any use.
- Safety functions belong in hardware, not in an ordinary PLC program and not on this platform. They include emergency stop, guarding and two-hand control, and are implemented with safety relays or certified safety controllers.
- You alone are responsible for any program you load onto real equipment, and for the results of running it.
4. Artificial intelligence
- Some features send the text of your request and your program to an AI model provider for processing (see the Privacy Policy).
- What the AI writes may be wrong, and section 3 applies to it in full. The studio tests the program on the engine; other outputs are not checked by the engine.
- These features may be limited by count or by credits, and the limits may change.
5. Content and ownership
- The platform's content belongs to us. You may use it to learn and to teach; you may not republish it for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Your programs belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you.
- Share links make a shared program readable by anyone who has the link.
6. What is not allowed
- Using the platform for anything unlawful.
- Trying to access other users' data, or disrupting the service.
- Collecting the content automatically at scale.
7. Purchases and refunds
- Credit packs are digital goods delivered to your account once the payment is confirmed. Prices are in US dollars.
- Credits that have not been used can be refunded within 14 days of purchase by writing to support@aiplcs.com. Used credits are not refundable.
- Cryptocurrency payments are refunded, when approved, to the sending wallet in the same currency, minus network fees.
8. Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is", without any warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage resulting from using the content or code on real equipment.
9. Changes
We may change the service or these terms. Registered users are notified of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
Privacy Policy
What we collect and why
- Email and password (encrypted; we never see it) โ your account and sign-in.
- Your projects, conversations and uploaded files โ keeping your work in your account.
- Credits and their usage log โ applying usage limits.
- AI usage log: the feature, the model, the number of tokens, the cost and the credits charged for each AI request, to bill credits, check costs and prevent abuse. Kept for 24 months.
- Page visit statistics, counted by our host without advertising trackers.
- Invitations: who invited whom, what the invitation link shared, and a random identifier stored in your browser, to grant invitation rewards and prevent their abuse.
- The request text and program sent to AI features โ providing the feature.
- The programs the AI writes for you, with the request, specification and answers behind each, and the engine's verdict โ keeping your work in your account, on any device ("My programs"). Stored in the platform's database; you can rename and delete each one.
- "Report a problem" reports: the text, the page, the language, your email if you give it, and a number derived from your device's address (not the address itself) โ handling the report and preventing abuse.
- Interface language, your progress in lessons and labs, your programs in the editor โ stored in your browser only (local storage).
AI providers
- Requests are processed by Anthropic (Claude). Some features use Google (Gemini) or OpenAI models through our hosting provider's gateway: search indexing of your files (embeddings), image generation, video analysis, and a fallback when Claude is unavailable. Your request may be processed in the United States.
- Do not put personal data or trade secrets you do not want to send into your requests.
- We do not use your programs or requests to train AI models.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe and cryptocurrency payments by Cryptomus; we never see or store your card details or wallet keys.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show targeted advertising.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
How long we keep data
- Account data and its content: for as long as your account exists, deleted within 30 days of a request to delete the account.
- Programs the AI wrote for you ("My programs"): until you delete them, or until your account is deleted.
- Reports: for as long as handling them requires, and at most 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and its data. Write to support@aiplcs.com from the email registered to your account; we reply within 30 days.
